CFMOTO 675SR-R (2025+) Maintenance Schedule and Service Info

This is the maintenance schedule and associated service intervals for the CFMOTO 675SR-R. The 675SR-R engine is a liquid-cooled, four-stroke, DOHC design with three cylinders, producing a claimed 70 kW (94 hp) at 11,000 rpm and 70 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. It’s paired with a six-speed gearbox, a CF-SC slipper clutch, and chain final drive.

This powertrain is unique to the 675SR-R and marks CFMOTO’s entry into the midsize triple-cylinder sportbike segment. While future naked variants (e.g. 675NK) may be introduced using the same engine, as of publication the 675SR-R is the only production model using this platform.

Model variants include:

  • CFMOTO 675SR-R (CF650-10): Global version with standard electronic features
  • CFMOTO 675SR-R (CF650-10H): Slightly detuned version (68 kW) for select markets

Both variants share the same chassis (aluminum frame and swingarm), fully adjustable KYB suspension, CST sport tires, and radial-mounted J.Juan brakes. Dimensions, weight, and ergonomic specs are consistent between versions.

The maintenance schedule applies equally to both variants. Differences in peak power output or region-specific features (like EVAP systems or lighting) do not affect the maintenance items or intervals.

CFMOTO 675SR-R (2025+) Service Intervals

The basic service interval for the CFMOTO 675SR-R is every 6,000 miles / 10,000 km or every 12 months, whichever comes first. A break-in service is also required at 600 miles / 1,000 km. Major service items include a valve clearance inspection at 24,000 mi / 40,000 km.

The inline triple layout means three spark plugs and a single cylinder head. Valve access requires fairing and tank removal, but layout is compact and conventional. Service more frequently if riding in dusty, wet, or high-load conditions.

General Notes on Serviceability for the CFMOTO 675SR-R

  • The 675SR-R uses a 675cc inline three-cylinder engine with DOHC and liquid cooling. Access to the valve cover for clearance checks requires removing the fairings, tank, and airbox, but layout is conventional and cylinder head access is straightforward once exposed.
  • Spark plug access is tight due to the compact frame and triple layout. A plug socket extension is needed to reach the center cylinder.
  • Coolant system is sealed and routed through a compact radiator and belly-mounted exhaust zone. Take care during coolant flush to avoid spillage onto exhaust shielding or fairings.
  • The Bosch EFI system and CF-SC slipper clutch require no routine adjustment but should be inspected for firmware updates and free lever movement at major services.
  • Rear shock preload and rebound damping are manually adjustable via a remote-mounted adjuster. Use care not to strip threads on adjuster collars. Clean adjuster threads before making changes.

About the 2025 CFMOTO 675SR-R

The 675SR-R is CFMOTO’s big swing at the middleweight supersport class, and it lands with both wheels firmly planted. Built around an all-new 675cc inline triple, it’s the first three-cylinder sportbike from a Chinese manufacturer and a clear sign that CFMOTO is no longer just filling gaps in the market. It’s aiming straight for the front row.

The engine is the star here. It’s a compact, liquid-cooled, DOHC triple that revs out to a claimed 70 kW at 11,000 rpm, with 70 Nm of torque peaking at 8,250 rpm. That puts it right in the firing line of the old Triumph Daytona 675, and a step up from the newer Daytona 660. The power comes on smooth and builds with urgency, with a nice balance between midrange grunt and top-end pull. It’s paired with a six-speed gearbox and CF-SC slipper clutch that’s light at the lever and slick on downshifts.

2025 CFMOTO 675SR-R vs Triumph Daytona 660 Comparison Table

Chassis-wise, the 675SR-R gets a twin-spar aluminum frame, fully adjustable 41 mm KYB USD fork up front, and a preload and rebound-adjustable KYB monoshock at the rear. Suspension is sport-firm but road-rideable, with enough compliance for bumpy tarmac but no vague wallowing when you start pushing. Wheelbase is a tight 1400 mm and curb weight comes in at 189 kg with fuel. It’s not featherlight, but still reasonable for a triple with full fairings.

Braking is handled by a pair of 300 mm front discs and radial four-piston J.Juan calipers, backed by a 240 mm disc and single-piston caliper out back. Feel and bite are strong, and ABS comes standard. Tires are CST S3N radials in the familiar 120/70 and 180/55 sizes.

Design-wise, the 675SR-R wears sharp Moto2-inspired bodywork with aerodynamic winglets and integrated brake ducts. The headlight and DRL setup borrows from the 450SR but gets slimmed down and stretched for a meaner face. The overall effect is aggressive but not overdone. Ergonomics lean sporty, but they’re not wrist-breaking. The riding position feels more like a supersport than a full-on superbike.

Maintenance is fairly routine. Oil changes and inspections are due every 5,000 km, and valve clearance checks come at 24,000 km. Fairing removal is required for deeper service, but access is clean once opened up. The triple-cylinder layout means three spark plugs and one head to deal with, so it’s not a major leap in complexity from a twin.

The 675SR-R isn’t just CFMOTO’s sportiest model. It’s a statement. A real-deal supersport built to carve up a backroad or hold its own at a trackday. If you’ve been missing the kind of character only a triple can deliver, this one’s worth a serious look.
