CFMOTO 675NK (2025+) Maintenance Schedule and Service Info

This is the maintenance schedule and associated service intervals for the CFMOTO 675NK. It is based on CFMOTO’s newly developed 675cc inline three-cylinder engine.

The CFMOTO 675NK is part of a platform that includes the following motorcycles:

  • CFMOTO 675NK: upright naked bike (unfaired roadster)
  • CFMOTO 675 SR-R: faired sportbike variant with identical engine and chassis

The engine is a liquid-cooled, 675cc transverse three-cylinder unit with double overhead cams and four valves per cylinder. In most markets, including the US, it produces 94 hp and 51.6 lb-ft of torque. A Euro5+ compliant version is also available in Europe, detuned slightly to 88.5 hp and 50.2 lb-ft.

This motor was designed in-house by CFMOTO and is not based on any existing platform from other manufacturers. It uses a 72 mm bore and 55.2 mm stroke, giving it a broader midrange compared to more oversquare triples like the Triumph 675 or MV Agusta F3.

The 675 NK shares most of its chassis and components with the 675 SR-R, including the KYB suspension, J.Juan brakes, and 15L fuel tank. Key differences are in bodywork and electronics; the 675 NK uses a flat bar and a minimal front cowl in place of the sportbike fairing. ABS and two-mode traction control are standard.

Maintenance for both models follows the same schedule. There are no generation changes or platform splits to note at this time that would affect the maintenance intervals or requirements.

CFMOTO 675NK (2025+) Service Intervals

The basic service interval for the CFMOTO 675NK is every 6,000 miles / 10,000 km or every 12 months, whichever comes first. A break-in service is also required at 600 miles / 1,000 km. Major service items include a valve clearance inspection at 24,000 mi / 40,000 km.

The inline three-cylinder layout means the valve cover is wide, but access is straightforward with standard tools. Keep an eye on the chain, and replace the air filter more frequently if riding in dusty conditions.

General Notes on Serviceability for the CFMOTO 675NK

  • The 675 NK uses a liquid-cooled, 675cc inline three-cylinder engine with DOHC and four valves per cylinder. It’s a compact but wide layout, so valve access requires tank and airbox removal but no specialty tools.
  • Oil changes are straightforward with good access to the filter and drain bolt. Use JASO MA2 10W-50 oil for best results. Check levels often as this engine revs high and runs hot.
  • Coolant system is sealed with a pressure cap on the right side and a visible overflow reservoir. Always bleed air from the system after flushing. Use premixed ethylene glycol-based coolant.
  • Spark plug access is tight due to the triple-cylinder layout. Coil packs need to be removed for inspection. Stick with NGK plugs as specified.
  • The bike uses CST tires as stock. Rear wheel access is easy thanks to a conventional swingarm. Chain adjustment is standard and tool-free at the axle, but check for stretch often.

About the 2025 CFMOTO 675NK

The 675 NK marks a big moment for CFMOTO. It’s the company’s first triple and a clean-sheet engine design, not borrowed or rebranded, but built from the ground up. This bike sits right in that sweet middleweight naked zone, going head-to-head with the likes of the Yamaha MT-07, Honda CB750 Hornet, and Triumph Trident 660 but with a third cylinder and a spec sheet that punches well above its price.

At the heart of the 675 NK is a 675cc inline three-cylinder engine, DOHC, liquid-cooled, and fuel-injected by Bosch. It puts out 70 kW (94 hp) at 11,000 rpm and 70 Nm of torque at 8,250 rpm. Compared to the MT-07’s parallel twin (55 kW, 68 Nm), the 675 NK offers more revs, more power, and an unmistakable triple-cylinder character. It pulls strong through the midrange and still loves to scream at the top end.

2025 CFMOTO 675 NK vs 2025 Yamaha MT-07 Comparison Table

The frame and chassis are adapted from the 675 SR-R sportbike, but stripped down for roadster duty. That means a steel tube frame with an aluminum swingarm, fully adjustable 41 mm KYB upside-down forks, and a preload- and rebound-adjustable rear shock. The brakes are solid too: twin 300 mm discs up front with four-piston radial calipers from J.Juan, and a 240 mm disc at the rear. ABS is standard.

Rider aids are modest but useful. You get two-mode traction control, standard ABS, and an up-only quickshifter. There’s no ride-by-wire or ride modes, but the throttle response is predictable thanks to a cable setup. A curved 5-inch TFT dash provides all your key info and features smartphone connectivity, Google Maps mirroring, and even a tire pressure monitoring system.

Ergonomics are on the sporty side. The seat comes from the 675 SR-R but the handlebars are wider and higher for upright riding. Footpegs are a little rear-set, giving it a slightly aggressive stance. Seat height is 810 mm, with optional low (795 mm) and tall (825 mm) seats available. With a curb weight of 189 kg and racy steering geometry (23.7-degree rake, 93.2 mm trail), the 675 NK is nimble and flickable.

Maintenance is pretty straightforward. Basic Service intervals are every 6,000 miles / 10,000 km. Valve clearance checks are due at 40,000 km, and while accessing the triple’s valve cover takes a bit more time than a twin, it’s manageable with standard tools. Oil changes, chain adjustments, and air filter replacements are all conventional.

If the MT-07 is the reliable everyman’s twin and the Trident 660 is the polished British option, the 675 NK is the newcomer with real attitude. It’s got the engine layout everyone loves, real suspension adjustability, and a tech package that’s rare at this price. It’s a lot of bike for the money and might just be the start of something big for CFMOTO.
